State of the art joint actuator
StryDrive™ focuses on delivering low-profile reduction with high-kinematic accuracy. The implementation of rolling tooth contact reduces wear and, when paired with minimal backlash, enables smoother high-cycle, high-frequency motion. StryDrive™ demonstrates high-moment and shock-load capacity with quiet operation.

Robust and silent single-stage cycloidal reducer provides high-torque density in a vibration free, low-profile design.
Camshaft delivers 180° phase-offset cycloidal motion to the gears to balance dynamic load and obtain uniform load distribution.
Static friction on traditional tooth lobes is replaced by kinetic friction on independently rotating tooth lobes providing smother and quieter motion.
High-resolution, precision hall-effect array detects rotor position for accurate position control and accleration ramping.
StrydSense™
Advanced signal acquisition and processing
StrydSense™ observes the electrical signals in targeted muscle groups. The signals recorded by the EMG sensor are digitally processed to remove unwanted noise and suppress artifacts. StrydSense™ features a four-band equalizer to tune the signal for each user and muscle group.
Electromyogram sensor isolates and amplifies the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles.
180 MHz ARM Cortex-M4 processor with dedicated Digital Signal Processing functions provides fast signal acquisition and processing. This processor is capable of accepting multiple EMG analog front end inputs.

The StrydLight™ frame features adjustable section lengths and passive joints. The carbon fiber composite materials provide 1.5x the strength of equivalent aluminum parts at only 20% of weight (Measured 25g/Equivalent 1060 122.99g).
